Keeping the soles of your feet flat on the foot pedals increases the number of leg muscles you’re using and will end up burning more calories.
High-Intensity Interval Training (HIIT)
Although the idea of HIIT is somewhat contrary to the concept of a fat-burning zone, the two can be used in combination to increase the number of calories you’re burning. Alternating between short bursts of high-intensity motions and reduced-intensity intervals is one of the more effective ways to burn calories.
